White Rose Production notes

• First oil was produced on November 12, 2005.
• White Rose reached a production rate of 100,000 barrels per day by May 9, 2006.
• On April 2, 2007 the CNLOPB announced a decision to increase White Rose annual oil production from 5.80 to 7.25 million cubic metres (36.5 million barrels to 45.6 million barrels) has been approved by the federal and provincial energy ministers. Annual production may be further increased to 7.94 million cubic metres (50 million barrels) following the completion of a testing program to the satisfaction of the CNLOPB.
• In July 2007 production was shut down for 16 days for scheduled maintenance on the SeaRose FPSO.
• In January 2008 production was shut down for 13 days for scheduled maintenance on the SeaRose FPSO.
• In late July 2009 production was shut down for 4 weeks for scheduled maintenance and for the installation of subsea lines and additional equipment on the SeaRose FPSO in preparation for production from the North Amethyst satellite field. White Rose production resumed on August 21 from one drill centre, production at the second drill centre resumed in October.
• First oil was produced from the North Amethyst satellite field on May 31, 2010.
• In October 2010 production was shut down for 16 days for maintenance and for the introduction of new control systems for the West White Rose expansion.
• In May 2012 production was shut down for an expected 125 days for maintenance on the SeaRose FPSO.
• In mid November 2018 production was shut down due to a leak in the subsea flowlines to the South White Rose Drill Centre. Production was not fully restored until mid August 2019.
